KIM HIN INDUSTRY BERHAD began its transformation from merely being a small brick-producing factory into one of the largest integrated ceramic tile manufacturers and distributors, and in the eventual listing of the company on the Main Board of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange. The journey started in 1973 when our founder and adviser, the late Mr. Chua Chui Tham, started a small factory to produce clay-bricks, in the outskirts of Kuching, Sarawak. A few years later, after being introduced to the ceramic industry during a trip abroad, Mr. Chua took the bold step to enter into a new venture in producing ceramic tiles. His effort paid off as in 1979, KIM HIN INDUSTRY BERHAD was successfully established as the first mosaic factory in East Malaysia with its flagship brand “Kimgres”.
Through hard work, dedication and working diligently in partnership with the market, the company has met the stringent demands of developers, architects and discerning home-owners. KIM HIN INDUSTRIES BERHAD believes in constantly improving its products and services to support the changing tastes and preferences of customers, and at the same time, position itself as a socially responsible corporate organisation.
